A North East trampoline park is undergoing an upgrade worth over £400,000 to create a new activity zone.
The investment at Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym is being delivered by GLL, a charitable social enterprise operating under the 'Better' brand, as part of its ongoing improvement programme.
Scheduled for completion by October 23, the new activity area is designed to offer a range of attractions for children, young people, and families.
Alison Westworth, GLL’s partnership manager for Newcastle, said: "This significant investment reflects our long-term commitment to providing high-quality leisure facilities that meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers.
"We’re confident the improvements will strengthen the centre’s appeal and provide a strong foundation for its continued success.
"We know our visitors will be eager to see the transformation when we reopen for the October half term, and we'd like to thank everyone for their patience and support while the work takes place."
The facility will cater to children as young as 18 months, with adult supervision required for those under eight.
It will feature a large arena play structure, sports pitch, interactive target games, and new trampoline beds.
The popular Air Bag will remain, with the addition of a new jump point and slide.

Behind the scenes, a new online safety briefing video will be introduced to help reduce waiting times on arrival.
During the refurbishment, the existing soft play area will remain open for children aged 10 and under.
To support inclusive play, a new soft play SEND session has been launched every Thursday from 4.15pm to 6pm for children and young people aged five to 15 with special educational needs.
