Two people have been arrested after an altercation between two families erupted at a County Durham caravan park.
Police were called to the Crimdon Dene Caravan Park, between Blackhall and Hartlepool, just before 10pm on Sunday (July 26) following an incident.
Two families staying at the park were understood to have had an altercation - with two male suspects making off from the scene.
Durham Police said a police chase was then launched. The pursuit ended in the Catcote Road area of Hartlepool, where reports suggest armed police were in attendance.
The force has confirmed that two people were arrested on suspicion of affray and a 33-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were taken into custody.
“Thankfully, no one was injured,” a spokesperson said.
