A County Durham man accused of carrying out a shoplifting spree is due to appear in court.
Shane McIntosh, of Ferryhill, has been charged with 24 offences after being arrested on July 22.
The 35-year-old was charged with 20 counts of shoplifting, breaching a restraining order, common assault and driving without a licence or insurance.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court today (July 24).
