A Ferryhill man has ordered to pay a fine and costs of £876 for failing to remove waste from his yard in breach of a community protection notice.
John Robinson, of Barrington Terrace, was found to have failed to comply with an order to clear waste from his property.
The incident took place on or before February 20, when Robinson was under a community protection notice.

The court heard evidence that waste had accumulated in his yard, in breach of section of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
The case was proved under the Single Justice Procedure at Peterlee Magistrates' Court on July 14.
Robinson, who did not attend court, was fined £220. He was also ordered to pay an £88 victim surcharge and £568 in costs.
