A probe has been launched after a burglar snatched cigarettes from a Darlington shop.
Officers were called to the One Stop, on Yarm Road, on Saturday (July 11) following reports of a burglary at 5.50am.
The suspect is believed to have stolen a quantity of cigarettes from the store before fleeing the scene - with police now trying to track him down.
The scene had been cleared by 11am on Saturday.

Durham Police has today (July 13) confirmed that an investigation has been launched and enquiries are now ongoing.
