A North Yorkshire town's summer food market is set to return to the High Street, offering a day of local produce, street food and family-friendly entertainment.

The event will take place in Northallerton on Sunday, July 19, from 11am to 4pm and will feature 25 food vendors offering local produce, street food, sweet treats and international flavours.

Organisers believe the market is a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy something new, support independents, and spend the day exploring the High Street.

Alex Shennib, Northallerton BID manager, said: "We’re delighted to host our second Food Market of the year, with many of our local favourites returning alongside some exciting new traders for everyone to try.

"The market is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate local food, support independent businesses and enjoy a great day out in the town centre.

"We encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the market and take the time to explore our wonderful High Street and the businesses that make Northallerton such a special place."
