A popular channel has shut down after more than a decade in the newest TV guide shake-up.
As broadcaster Sky continues to update its services, four channels, as well as some extra services, are also being changed for viewers.
While one channel is shutting down, other temporary ones are coming, with TV guide changes common for customers.
Sky shuts down popular sports channel after 13 years
The major change for viewers is the closing of a popular channel after 13 years.
TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), first launched in 2013 and regularly shows the likes of football, boxing, rugby, and more.
The brand's channels are available on EE TV, Sky and Virgin Media in the UK.
HBO Max launched in the UK in March, replacing Discovery+ as the streaming home for TNT Sports.
However, after 13 years, the Standard Definition (SD) broadcast for TNT Sports is being shut down by Sky.
It comes as the broadcaster continues its gradual switch to High Definition (HD).
From today (July 1), TNT Sport 1 SD, TNT Sport 2 SD, TNT Sport 3 SD, and TNT Sport 4 SD will no longer be available on all Sky boxes.
Instead, viewers wanting to access any of the channels are being instructed to find the equivalent HD services on channels 410, 411, 413 and 414.
HD is included as standard in TNT Sports packages, so subscribers can access the alternative channels for free.
However, any viewers still using older, non-HD satellite receivers, such as the original Sky+ boxes, will no longer be able to watch TNT Sports.
Other changes in the latest shake-up include Nick Jr. Too (Satellite 612 and Glass/Stream 208) becoming Nick Jr. Paw Patrol for a temporary time.
As well as this, the news and opinion radio station Times Radio can now be found on channel 0142 for satellite viewers only.
Sky removes news channel from listings
The shutdown of TNT Sports SD channels is not the only major change that Sky has undergone in recent weeks.
At the beginning of June, local news channel London TV (Satellite 117) was permanently removed from Sky listings.
The channel is still able to be viewed on standard Freeview channel 8 and Virgin Media channel 159.
The changes follow Crime and Justice, which was available on channel 1024 via Sky Glass and Sky Stream, also recently closed down.
The channel featured real-life and true-crime programmes, including Britain’s Darkest Taboos, What the Killer Did Next, Stop Search Seize, and Highway Cops.
Latest Freeview changes for July
In other TV news, those with Freeview have been urged to retune their TV's amid five more changes in the latest update.
The new update features four changes and is already live on all Freeview TVs.
The channel changes being made as part of the latest Freeview update are:
Channel name change
- Wedotv Big Stories to Wedotv (channel 275)
Channel moves
- Ketchup TV - channel 209 to 208
- Ketchup Too - channel 210 to 209
- Cartoon Classics - channel 214 to 210
Channel closure
- Talk (channel 280)
To retune your TV, follow these steps:
- Press 'Menu' on your box or TV remote control.
- Select ‘Set-up’, ‘installation’, ‘update’ or a similar option. If you’re asked for a password, the default code is ‘1234’ or ‘0000’.
- Select ‘First-time installation’ (sometimes called ‘factory reset’, ‘full retune’ or ‘default settings’).
- Press ‘OK’ if your equipment asks if it's OK to delete existing channels and then your retune should start automatically. If you’re prompted to, save the channels that are found.

Freeview said: "Channels continue to evolve on Freeview with individual channel providers making the decision to move, add or remove channels.
