A person has been airlifted to hospital after an incident at a County Durham home.
The air ambulance and paramedics were called to reports of an injured person at an address off Bertha Street in Ferryhill at 4.09pm on June 30.
One person was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle for further treatment.
A Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 4.30pm to an incident in Ferryhill.
"We had two paramedics and a doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 4.41pm.
"Our team worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat patient and airlifted them to hospital."
The NEAS confirmed they attended the incident. A spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a person injured at an address off Bertha Street in Ferryhill at 4.09pm on June 30.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and a rapid response paramedic and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"After working together on scene, the patient was flown to the RVI for further treatment."
Durham Police said they did not attend the incident.
