More than 700 dancers turned out for Darlington's annual mass dance.
The festival returned on Saturday (June 20), marking its 16th year with the theme 'Together Through Time', celebrating intergenerational connections.
Dancers from 20 local dance schools, primary schools, and community groups took part.
The 2026 routine was choreographed by Darrien Wright and Debbie Harbin, who created learn-along videos ahead of the event so participants could practise.
Darrien said: "Every year myself and Debbie want to do something different when it comes to the theme and the choreography, and given this year's title we wanted to highlight something that’s iconic - the Town Clock.
"Everyone took the challenge on and today absolutely smashed it."
Performers included regulars from Stage Darlington and Pierremont School of Dance.
Alongside the main performance, the festival featured a packed afternoon of activities for all ages.
Urban Kaos led interactive dance workshops, giving visitors a chance to get involved.
Other attractions included a retro sweet stall, a fidget spinner stall, glitter face painting, and DJ entertainment, making it a fun day out for families.
Joanne Scott, chair of the Darlington Dance Festival Association, said: "Together Through Time celebrates the generations who have supported and enjoyed our event over the years.
"Through music and dance from different eras, we aim to showcase the connections that unite our community and demonstrate how dance brings people of all ages together."
Choreographer Darrien added: "We started this event in 2010 and each year we just love seeing people come together to celebrate our towns love for dance."
