A Hartlepool factory has gone up for sale for £2 million after 56 workers lost their jobs.
Bridgman IBC Limited, a fire door and security door manufacturer based on Greatham on the Longhill Industrial Estate, went into administration in March after facing "insurmountable cashflow pressures."
All 56 members of staff were made redundant on March 13, just days after administrators were appointed by the High Court on March 6.

Despite a last-ditch effort to find a buyer for the business as a going concern, no deal could be struck in time to save jobs.
Bridgman IBC had spent more than 60 years manufacturing specialist doors for high-profile clients including the NHS, Newcastle University, Cineworld and the Hilton hotel group.
Its most recent accounts, covering the year to March 2025, recorded a loss of £607,010 - despite the company carrying a full order book at the time of its collapse.

Administrator Ian Royle said at the time: "Despite a strong effort by the directors to increase sales over the past 18 months, which resulted in a full order book, the business faced insurmountable cashflow pressures.
"Ultimately, it was unable to fund the raw materials required to continue production."

The factory, which extends to approximately 88,511 square feet across a one-hectare site, is currently listed for sale by Eddisons Commercial for offers in the region of £2 million.
The site includes workshop space, offices, loading areas, car parking and crane lifting equipment.
Bridgman IBC was previously rescued by a management buyout in 2004, when its parent company went into receivership and four managers stepped in to save 65 jobs.
