Darlington Hippodrome has a packed programme of shows lined up over the next four weeks, with a string of well-known faces taking to the stage at the Parkgate venue.
From Strictly stars and soul legends to Beatles tributes and a Night Garden adventure for the little ones, there is something on most nights between now and mid-July.
This week
The action starts tonight with Burn the Floor presents Nikita Kuzmin: Supernova, in which the Strictly Come Dancing favourite and finalist combines his trademark ballroom flair with the high-energy Burn the Floor dance company.
On June 18, soul legends The Drifters bring their back catalogue to Darlington, including Under the Boardwalk and Up on the Roof.
June 19 sees Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra roll into town for one of the most anticipated nights of the summer season at the Hippodrome.
The weekend rounds off with an adult pantomime take on The Wizard of Oz on June 20, followed on June 21 by Super Troupers , the ABBA tribute show starring Kerry Katona .
The former Atomic Kitten singer and Celebrity Big Brother winner leads a cast performing the Scandinavian pop group's greatest hits.
Later in June
On June 23, another Strictly favourite arrives in Darlington: Kai Widdrington brings his solo tour, Evolution, to the Hippodrome, showcasing his competition-floor ballroom choreography in a full stage show.
The weekend of June 27 and 28 is the one for families, with four performances of In The Night Garden Live bringing Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka to life on stage in a show running approximately 55 minutes.
Also on June 27 is 2 Guys, 4 Drams, an adults-only evening from The Rhythm and Booze Project combining live blues music with premium Scotch whisky.
On June 30 with Across the Universe: A Celebration of the Beatles, in which a live band and full orchestra recreate the Fab Four's studio years from 1966 to 1970, performing recordings that were never intended for a live audience.
Early July
The Cat in the Hat runs from July 3 to 5, bringing Dr Seuss's much-loved story to the stage in a family-friendly production.
On July 7, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac arrive: personally endorsed by Fleetwood Mac founding member Mick Fleetwood himself and widely regarded as the best tribute to the band in the world, the show runs to two hours and 35 minutes.
Radio GaGa, the ultimate Queen tribute, fills the Hippodrome on July 12, while the week closes with The Importance of Being Oscar , a theatrical celebration of Oscar Wilde, running July 14 to July 16.
