A drug dealer will have to wait to be sentenced until his co-accused appears in court facing similar charges.
Jordan Hopps admitted supplying cocaine twice on December 27, 2024, and January 13, 2025, in Darlington.
The 25-year-old was due to be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court but a judge adjourned his case until his co-accused Darlington man, Jack Criddle, appears in court.
Paul Abrahams, prosecuting, made the application to relist the sentencing hearing until June 24 when the 23-year-old co-accused will next appear.
Recorder Simon Kealey KC said: “No doubt, you came to court expecting to know your sentence but this very important case may affect your culpability and how much of a role you played in all of this when viewed next to somebody else who is allegedly involved.

“The court is going to have to make an assessment about that so therefore I’m going to adjourn your case to June 24.
“That will give your barrister time to assess your pre-sentence report and the prosecution to consider other matters brought to its attention.”
Hopps, of Craddock Street, Spennymoor, was released on unconditional bail until the next hearing.
Criddle, of Stocksmoor Close, Darlington, will appear before a judge at the same time when he will be expected to enter a plea to a charge of supplying cocaine on January 17 last year in Darlington.
