A person was taken to hospital after falling down an embankment and suffering a suspected head injury.
Cleveland Mountain Rescue crews were called at around 1.30pm to Saltburn Beck on Sunday afternoon (May 31).
Crew members were asked to assist the North East Ambulance Service and they made their way to a rendezvous point in Saltburn.
Around the same time paramedics reached the scene, two rescue team members also arrived.
However, the patient had managed to get out of the water before help arrived.
In total, 26 team members were involved either at the scene or travelling, with the callout lasting around an hour and a half.
The patient was then taken to hospital for further treatment after suffering a suspected head injury.
A spokesperson from Cleveland Mountain Rescue said: "The person was medically assessed on the bankside and deemed to be okay to walk to the nearby ambulance, for onward transfer to hospital.
"We wish the person a speedy recovery."
