Former Queen of the Jungle and England Lioness Jill Scott will be taking on a monumental five-day test of endurance next week.

The challenge started on June 8, will see Jill travel 388-miles from Wembley Stadium, all the way to the Stadium of Light in her hometown of Sunderland.

Along the way Jill will be joined by a host of famous faces and visit a range of iconic stadiums across England ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Days one and two of Jill's challenge will see her taking on a brutal 112-mile cycling course from Wembley Stadium to Everton Hill Dickinson Stadium, with day three consisting of a cross-country 99-mile run to Manchester's Joie Stadium.

On day four, Jill will cycle 111 miles to Bishop Auckland, and finally on day five, Jill's journey will culminate with an emotional 28-mile run to the Stadium of Light, where Jill will have completed her challenge and returned to her hometown of Sunderland.

Jill said she is apprehensive but excited for her charity feat. She said: "It's nerve wracking when I look at some of these distances, running marathons and cycling hundreds of miles back-to-back.

"Just like throughout my career, I know I'm going to need a community behind me to get me across that finish line."

However, Jill makes it clear how important any donations will be, adding: "Together with Sport Relief, we can help people through the toughest times- and show everyone that no matter how hard things get, no one has to face it alone."

Sport Relief has raised £420 million since launching in 2002, and it uses the power of sport to ensure there exists inclusive spaces across the UK.

At least half of the funds which are raised by Jill's challenge will be used to fund Sport for Change projects within local communities, consisting of football, boxing, cycling and more.

The rest of the money raised will go to the wider work of Comic Relief.

Samir Patel, chief executive officer of Comic Relief, said: "Jill's home-coming challenge is about far more than just physical endurance.

"It is about recognising the communities, support systems, and safe spaces that shape people's lives and futures.

"Across the UK, far too many people are facing isolation, hardship, and uncertainty.

"The money Jill raises will fund vital projects that provide a lifeline, helping people feel safe, supported and secure."
