A man has been arrested after a street row involving a large knife saw armed police called.
Officers with guns were called to Scurfield Road in Hardwick around 12.40pm on Monday (May 11) after reports of an argument between two men, one armed with a large blade.
One man has since been arrested on suspicion of affray as officers remain at the scene.
In a picture seen by The Northern Echo, several police cars and armed officers were seen on the street.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "At 2.40pm on Monday police were called to Scurfield Road in Hardwick following reports of an argument between two men and one armed with a large knife.
"One man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. Officers continue to be at the scene."
