Shoppers have shared their hopes for big-name retailers, fashion brands, and new food outlets to come to a North East shopping centre.
Locals' suggestions follow ongoing repair work at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in Hartlepool.
The indoor market at the centre closed in 2024 after reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) was found in the structure, prompting essential repairs and a £13.8 million redevelopment plan that includes partial demolition of the north east section.
A social media poll has seen residents put forward a wide range of suggestions, with many calling for the return of Woolworths and other high street names that have since closed.
Other popular requests include Apple, HMV and a full M&S branch, as opposed to just a foodhall.
Chains such as Zara and Lush were also mentioned, along with restaurant brands including Wagamama, Wingstop and Popeyes.

There were also calls for more menswear shops, whilst other residents suggested an American-style Target store, B&Q, Hobbycraft and the return of Binns.
One comment hoped for a wallpaper and paint shop as they "used to love Levy’s in the town".
Some asked for a dedicated pet shop, while others asked for an Ikea.
