Children from a North East primary school have been channelling the spirit of the seventies at a major dance festival.
Star of the Sea Catholic Primary in Whitley Bay performed a routine to ABBA’s Voulez Vous at the North Tyneside Dance Festival, held over six nights at the Whitley Bay Playhouse.
David Thompson, PE Lead at the school, said: "After weeks or rehearsals during a morning breakfast club, 19 boys and girls from Year 3 to Year 6 performed their dance at the Whitley Bay Playhouse."

Choreographed by Harriet Carr from Decote Dance in North Shields, the routine fit this year's festival theme, The Living World.
Pupils dressed in black and blue streetwear as they took to the stage in front of a packed audience of family members and friends.
Mr Thompson said: "The venue was packed with parents and carers, and children from other schools supporting and encouraging each other.
