A five-year-old's boy fall from the window of a terraced home in Middlesbrough is no longer being investigated by police.
Police and paramedics were called to Palmer Street on April 2 after the youngster fell from the window of the terraced home just after 4.45pm.
The child was taken to the James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries and was confirmed to be in a serious but stable condition at the time.
Now, Cleveland Police has confirmed that officers are no longer investigating the incident as it was deemed that there were no criminal offences.
The current condition of the child is not yet known but the injuries were previously branded as non-life threatening.
Officers taped off the scene following the incident earlier this month, with pictures on Good Friday showing a police car on the road.
Detectives were seen going door-to-door across the morning - while nearby residents were left shocked at the incident that unfolded nearby.
A 67-year-old who moved to the area last year, told the Echo: “I’ve heard it is something to do with a child falling out the window.
“I heard that’s what happened yesterday afternoon. The police were first here and they have been there ever since.

"There was one ambulance, a paramedic car, and three police cars. They changed over at about 7.30am but they have been there ever since.”
Another resident, 39, who has lived on the street for nine years, added: “The police have just been knocking on everyone’s doors.
"I was working yesterday - by the time I got home at about 5.30pm or 6pm it was already cordoned off just like it is now."
