One person has been taken to hospital after a medical incident near Crook.
Emergency services were called to land west of Billy Row on Monday (April 27) following an incident just after 4pm.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) sent its helicopter to the scene, landing near Low Jobs Hill at 4.23pm before teams assessed and treated a patient.
GNAAS has confirmed that one person was then taken to hospital by road. Their current conditions remains unknown.
A spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 4.10pm to an incident in Crook.

"We had a doctor and two paramedics on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 4.23pm.
"Our team worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient.
"The patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
