A North Yorkshire jeweller has announced the closure of one of its high street shops after more than a decade of trading.
Carruthers Jewellers has been a fixture on Stokesley High Street for more than 14 years, but announced it will be closing for good on Saturday, May 2.
The family-run business made the decision to close in order to spend more time with loved ones and focus on the Saltburn shop, which has been open for more than 30 years.
In a post on Facebook, the team said: "After over 14 wonderful years, Saturday, May 2, will be our final day of trading in Stokesley.
"A couple of months ago we made the difficult decision to wind down the Stokesley business.
"We have loved every minute of being part of the Stokesley community and we thank you all for the amazing support, kindness and memories you've given us over the years."
Staff will transfer to the Saltburn store on a full-time basis from May 5.
Customers and residents have shared their sadness at the news.
