The UK’s largest tractor festival is gearing up for its twentieth show at a North Yorkshire stately home.
Tractor Fest will take place at Newby Hall and Gardens, near in Ripon, over the weekend of June 6 and 7, promising a major celebration for enthusiasts and families alike.
The event, organised by the Yorkshire Vintage Association (YVA), will feature more than 1,400 vintage and modern tractors, along with 2,200 additional exhibits including stationary engines, commercial vehicles, cars, trucks, and motorcycles displayed across 120 acres of the Newby estate.
Kevin Watson, chair of the YVA, said: "We are very proud to partner with Newby on our show which, from small beginnings 20 years ago, has grown to become the biggest and most spectacular celebration of tractors and engines in the country.
"There really is something for all the family – from thousands of cherished Tractor Fest exhibits to Newby’s adventure playground and award-winning gardens."
This year’s show will include exhibits themed 'Made in Scotland,' spotlighting tractors, engines, and machinery manufactured north of the border, as well as motor rollers.
Among the highlights will be one of only three remaining 1932 14-tonne Aveling and Porter rollers, and a 1944 Wallis & Steevens roller being shown at the event for the first time.
The Czech manufacturer Zetor will also be celebrated on its 80th anniversary.
Zetor gained international recognition for introducing tractor cabins with rollover protection and reduced noise levels.
The show will feature a Zetor tractor which featured as Joe Sugden’s tractor on Emmerdale.
Entertainment and activities will be available throughout the weekend, along with crafts, food, and drink stalls.
Admission also includes access to Newby’s RHS Chelsea gold medal-winning gardens, adventure playground, dolls house and teddy bear exhibitions.
Tractor Fest is sponsored by Cheffins, Econ Engineering, P.V.Brockhills, nci insurance services, and Friends of Ferguson Heritage, with support from Ripon Farm Services and the National Vintage Tractor & Engine Club.

Tickets for the event are priced at £22 for adults, £16 for children, and £65 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
Children under four go free.
