A North Yorkshire nursery has been sold to new owners after more than a decade under the care of its previous proprietor.
Rooftops Nursery School in Richmond, was brought to market after more than a decade of ownership by Hannah Hurley, who took over the business in 2013 shortly after her daughter attended.
Ms Hurley described the decision to sell as difficult, but cited other commitments as the reason for moving on.

In a confidential sales process handled by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co, the nursery was acquired by first-time buyers Joanne and Andrew Banner, who saw it as "the perfect place to begin their journey" in early years education.
Ms Hurley said: "I will be very sad to leave the nursery.
"Staff and parents have been a pleasure to work with, but I know it is in the best hands with the new owners Joanne and Andrew."
Rooftops Nursery School, located on Queens Road, is the only private nursery in the town and provides care for up to 54 children, following Montessori principles and accredited by The Curiosity Approach.
Grace Day, senior business agent for childcare and education at Christie & Co, said: "When we brought this opportunity to market, we received a large number of enquiries, but it was clear from the outset that Joanne and Andrew were the right fit to continue the legacy that Hannah had built.
"This sale reflects what we’re continuing to see across the market, with new entrants keen to acquire day nurseries across a range of sizes, locations, and budgets.
"We’d like to wish Hannah and her family all the very best for the future, and extend our congratulations to the Banner family as they begin a very exciting new chapter."
