Signs have appeared on a County Durham supermarket which is set to close for a revamp this month to bring a "fresh look".
The Iceland store on Scott Street, Stanley, will close for five days as works are carried out, with signs in the windows now showing the reopening date.
An Iceland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the Iceland Foods store on Scott Street, Stanley, will be closing temporarily on Monday, March 23 at 2pm.
“The store will reopen on Saturday, March 28 at 8am with a fresh look. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers in the local area.”
The planned refurb of the Stanley store is one of many carried out by the supermarket this year.

The Chester-le-Street store in St Cuthbert's Walk Shopping Centre reopened on Thursday (March 12) after being closed for four days.
Iceland's Darlington store also closed for a major refurb last month.
The store on Yarm Road was closed from Saturday, February 14 for four days while work was carried out.
