A new art exhibition is set to take place in a North Yorkshire market town.
The annual exhibition will be held by Leven Art Society at Stokesley Town Hall on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12.
The society takes its name from the River Leven, which passes through Stokesley.
Artworks will be displayed both on the ground floor and upstairs.
Visitors can browse original paintings, unframed prints and 3D pieces.
The Art Café will also be open, serving coffee and scones.
Upstairs, the Framed Exhibition will group each artist’s work together, highlighting the society’s members and their work.
All pieces will be available for purchase.
Society members will be present throughout the weekend.
They will be available to discuss the artwork and share information about joining the group.
Leven Art Society meets twice monthly and welcomes artists of all experience levels.
The society offers professional demonstrations and workshops aimed at helping members improve their skills and experiment with new techniques.
The exhibition will also feature the six finalists of the Mackenzie Thorpe Award.
This is an art competition run in partnership with Northallerton School and Sixth Form College.
The society’s president, Mackenzie Thorpe, will select the winner.
The presentation will take place on the preview night, Friday, April 10.

The winner will receive a specially designed trophy.
