The electronic music duo Groove Armada will headline the second day of a new music festival taking place in County Durham, it has been revealed.
The duo will take centre stage at Opulence, a two-day event being held in the historic grounds of Lumley Castle in County Durham, on September 4 and September 5.
Organisers say day one of the festival will feature performances by Marti Pellow and Gabrielle, while the second day will focus on house music, headlined by Groove Armada.
Daz Flatman, operations manager at festival organiser ATA Events, said: "We are bringing two very different musical experiences over two days with the common factor being the spectacular backdrop of Lumley Castle.
"For anyone who loves House music, this is going to be an event not to be missed, with some of the biggest DJing names plus the icons which are Groove Armada."
Groove Armada, known for tracks such as At The River, I See You Baby, and Superstylin, will close the festival’s second day with a headline set on the Lawn Stage.
They will be joined by a line-up of house DJs including Sam Divine, Eat Everything, Danny Howard, PBR Street Gang, Daz Flatman, Richard Tulip, and The Hutchinson Bros.
A second area, the Monument Stage, will feature a line-up headlined by house music veteran Todd Terry.
Other acts on that stage include Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, Danny Rampling, Alison Limerick, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Paul Taylor, The Beat Boutique, Neil Hargreaves, Emma Harbs, and The Missus.
General tickets go on sale on March 10, starting at £52.50.
VIP tickets begin at £90 and include access to the VIP area next to the main stage, with uninterrupted views of the stage, a dedicated premium bar, fast track entry, and premium toilets.
VVIP tickets are limited to 100 and cost £160 per person.
These offer their own private tables under cover and on a raised area overlooking the Lawn Stage, with waiter service, canapes and nibbles on the table, premium toilets, and access to the VIP area.

Friday’s line-up, under the banner Live at Lumley, will feature headline performances from Marti Pellow and Gabrielle.
They will be joined by artists including Smoove and Turrell, Soulutions, and Kate Bond.
There is also a limited number of rooms to book for an overnight stay at the castle.
