Three teenagers deny being involved in the alleged murder of man found dead in his home.
David Cuthbert died following an incident at a property on Egglescliffe Close, Stockton, on Saturday, January 10.
Layton Lightfoot, 18, of Stockwith Close, Middlesbrough, Charlie Wilcock, 19, of no fixed address, and Jesse Reaney, 18, from Lowthian Road, in Hartlepool, have all been charged with the alleged murder of the 49-year-old.
Judge Francis Laird KC, the Recorder of Middlesbrough, remanded all three teenagers in custody until a proposed trial date of July 20.
Kama Melly KC, prosecuting, told Teesside Crown Court that the three defendants were also facing separate charges allegedly committed at around the same time.
She said they would be appearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court in due course and an application would be made to join to the two sets of proceedings together.

The three teenagers, who appeared in court via a video link, spoke to confirm their names, date of birth and not guilty plea.
Following his death, Mr Cuthbert's family said: "David was a kind, loving, fun man with a heart of gold.
"Always smiling and making people laugh, he would light up a room in seconds. David was loved by so many and would do anything for anyone.
“We as a family are so grateful for the love and support we are receiving. All our hearts are broken. We all love you so much David".
