A former Starbucks drive-thru on the A66 near Darlington has gone up for sale months after it shut down.
The former coffee shop near Sadberge closed in October 2025, just over a year after opening.
Starbucks only opened at the site in July 2024, after the building had short spells as Tulip Indian restaurant and the Akbar Dynasty.
The site is now up for sale, and includes additional land for development.
A Starbucks spokesperson said last year: "We regularly review our portfolio to ensure our stores are relevant for our customers.
"Our Starbucks coffeehouse in Darlington is now closed, and we thank our customers for their loyalty over the years and invite them to find their nearest store on the Starbucks store locator."

The site has seen several uses in recent years, having briefly operated as Tulip’s Indian restaurant between June 2022 and 2023.
The building was previously the Akbar Dynasty, which lost its licence in April 2021 after employing illegal workers.
Estate agents Parker Barras say it represents a "rare" opportunity for roadside operators.
