Amanda Owen, best known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, has built her profile over the years thanks to TV shows Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.
However, Amanda does all of this while showcasing the work she and her nine children do on their farm in North Yorkshire.
Amanda shares her children with her ex-husband Clive Owen, and their family life at the remote Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales first captured viewers’ attention on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm.
The children are frequently seen helping out on the farm, with Amanda often speaking about raising a large, independent family and teaching them resilience, responsibility and a strong work ethic.

Fans will soon see more of the Owen family, as Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids is set to return to More4 later this month, airing from 9pm on January 19.
Often described as a Yorkshire take on Grand Designs, the series follows Amanda, Clive and their children as they take on the ambitious renovation of the derelict farmhouse next door to Ravenseat, known as Anty John’s.
Viewers are promised five new episodes charting the highs and lows of the project, from tackling the interior renovation to finally installing plumbing and running water.

The upcoming episodes form part of the programme’s third and fourth series, filmed between May and December 2025, capturing the full force of Yorkshire weather along the way.
Alongside the practical challenges, Amanda also explores the history of the farmhouse, including its most famous former resident, Swaledale map maker Anthony Clarkson.
Speaking about the return, Amanda said she was “beyond delighted” to be able to showcase “this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside” as viewers continue to follow the family’s journey.
