One person was taken to hospital, and two people were treated at the scene of a three-vehicle crash in County Durham this morning.
Emergency services were called to the A688 at Bishop Auckland at about 7.55am today (Tuesday, December 9), following reports of a collision near Wynyard Grove.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed that it dispatched two ambulances to the scene, treated two patients on scene and took one person to Darlington Memorial Hospital.

A spokesperson for NEAS said: "We were called to an incident on the A688, at Wynyard Grove, Bishop Auckland, at 7.54am on Tuesday, December 9. We dispatched two ambulance crews to the incident.
"Two patients were treated and discharged on scene, and one patient was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital for further treatment.”
A Durham police spokesperson added: "We were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision on the A688 near Bishop Auckland shortly after 8am this morning."
