A person has been airlifted to hospital after a crash between a vehicle and a cyclist in North Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to Darlington Road, between Richmond and Skeeby, today (November 25) at around 2.50pm, following reports of a collision.
Two air ambulances, police vehicles and a road ambulance were sent to the scene, and the road was closed for several hours.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) confirmed that a person was taken to hospital via air ambulance.

A spokesperson for YAS said: "We received an emergency call at 2.50pm on Tuesday to report a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist on Darlington Road between Richmond and Skeeby.
"An ambulance and two air ambulances (one Great North and one Yorkshire) were dispatched to the scene, and one patient was conveyed by air to James Cook Hospital."
North Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and the Great North Air Ambulance have been contacted for a statement.
