A TV documentary will air tonight following Sara Cox on her gruelling 135-mile Children in Need through the region.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ completed five marathons in five days last week raising more than £10m for the annual charity appeal last week, starting at Kielder in Northumberland and passing through County Durham and North Yorkshire on the way to the finish line, aptly, in Pudsey, Leeds.
Crowds turned out along the route to cheer on the presenter as she battled pain and exhaustion.
Camera crews followed her every step of the way filming a documentary which is set to air on BBC One tonight (Wednesday, November 19).
The hour-long programme, which will also be available on iPlayer, shows her meet some 'remarkable' young people who've benefitted from Children in Need.
Speaking about her experience, the 50-year-old previously said the challenge had been "the most amazing, painful and wonderful few days" of her life.
Cox added: "There’s a lot of bad stuff that goes on in the world, but Children in Need reminds you that there’s more good."

Children lined the route donning Pudsey Bear ears and waving signs with messages of support as she passed through County Durham.
The final fundraising total came to a staggering £10,169,084.
'Sara Cox: Every step of the way for Children in Need' airs at 8pm on Wednesday (November 19) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
