Darlington party-ers will be able to dance all day as a Christmas disco comes to town.
The over-30s event at The Gate, will see crowds don Santa hats as they get a boogie on to party classics and Christmas bangers, organisers say.
DJ Craig Chisman, who brought the 'Daytime Disco' to his hometown, has been playing since the 80s and has held residencies in Ibiza and Mallorca.
The former Carmel College student said: "This is the first Christmas-themed over-30s event we have done. We have got free glow sticks, free Santa hats.
"It is ideal for people who are on works Christmas dos or nights out with friends.
"The events are well attended, everybody has fun.
"There is never any trouble, people aren't on their phones. They just dance to the good old tunes like they used to. We are looking forward to a really good, festive fun afternoon with a great Christmas atmosphere."
There will also be a £50 meal voucher prize for the best outfit, with fancy dress encouraged.

Previous daytime disco events have attracted more than 150 people, with more than 80 tickets already sold for the December 13 bash.
Tickets cost £5 for the first 100 people, rising to £8. They will cost £10 on the door.
Chris also teased they have "a lot happening" for 2026 with more events planned. More information will be posted on the Daytime Disco (Darlington) Facebook page.
