A beauty hamper business that sells a range of high-end products has opened at Darlington's Indoor Market.
Simply Boxed Gifts opened yesterday and will be in the market until December 27, opening from 11am-4pm, and providing a wide range of “gifts for all occasions”.
Adam Oliver, 37, from Darlington, has been busy helping his mum, who does not want to be named, get the stall ready for its grand opening.
He said: “My mum started doing the beauty hampers as a hobby and ever since she’s just added more and more products.
"She's been doing it for a year and a half now and its gone from strength to strength.
“She's worked so hard and that’s why we need the people of Darlington to come down and support her brand.”
Adam's mum, who owns the stall, added: “I hand-make each hamper and put the products together for all occasions. Each hamper has a mixture of different brands in it.
"The hampers include high-end products such as Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, The Body Shop and Look Fantastic to name a few.
“They would make the perfect Christmas gift.”
The hampers range in prices depending on the brands included within them.
Adam’s partner Jason Wright, 41, from Darlington is also sharing a section of the new stall after starting his graphics business only three months ago.
Renegade Inker Design was born after he underwent an injury and needed a creative outlet during his sick leave.
Jason said: “I've only recently started doing market stalls, but I do a lot of custom work online as well.
“When Adam's mum said she was opening the stall and asked if I wanted to add my designs, I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to get my work out there.
“I’ve done all the designs myself from literally pencil to press.”
“I have a Halloween range and other generic designs, from autism awareness and pride.
“They’re all quirky and alternative. And that's what I'm striving for with my brand."
After developing anxiety and a panic disorder, Jason tried to turn the time off into a positive by creating his brand.
He added: “That’s how I came up with the name renegade because it's kind of like I'm going against the grain.”

Customers can also buy raffle tickets alongside their purchase to win a Charlotte Tilbury 2025 advent calendar worth £175.
The raffle will be drawn on Saturday, November 29.
Adam added: “We need Darlo’s support. Come along to the indoor market and support our local business.”
