A County Durham woman has been banned from driving for a year after being caught over the drink-drive limit.
Angeline Robinson, 47, of North Crescent, Peterlee, appeared before Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
She admitted driving a Hyundai i10 on Thorpe Road, in the town, with 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The offence took place on September 10.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month driving disqualification, with the option to reduce the ban by three months if Robinson completes a drink-drive rehabilitation course by May 5, 2026.
She was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £48 victim surcharge.
An application was made for benefit deductions. The court set a 14-day deadline to pay the lump sum.
