A popular County Durham food truck had a star-studded surprise when BBC antiques expert David Harper paid a visit to sample its Sunday roast.
The Millie Moo’s Roasts team welcomed the well-known television personality and his wife Wendy, as it popped-up in Winston, near Barnard Castle.
The couple stopped by the food truck to enjoy one of its signature meals, and the TV star was quick to offer his seal of approval, praising both the food and the friendly atmosphere, its owners said.

“It was fantastic to meet David and Wendy — they were absolutely lovely,” Millie Moo's owner Michael England said.
“We’re so proud he enjoyed his meal and took the time to visit us.”
Born in Middlesbrough, Harper has built a celebrated career as an antiques expert, appearing on Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip.

He first appeared on Channel 4’s Natural Born Dealers in 2005 and has since become a familiar face across British television.
He soon became a favourite among viewers of daytime classics like Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Cash in the Attic.

The visit created quite the buzz with customers sharing their excitement on social media after spotting the star.
Harper has homes in Barnard Castle and London.
Millie Moo’s Roasts, known for its hearty portions and community spirit, said it hopes to welcome the Harpers back again soon.
