A restaurant on a busy road has been put on the market for £48,000.

Petros Restaurant, which serves up Greek and Italian dishes, is located on Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, on the A694.

The restaurant has a weekly turnover of £9,000 to £10,000, according to estate agents Rook Matthews Sayer.

The business, which pays an annual rent of £24,960, includes a fully equipped and recently refurbished kitchen.

The restaurant has a car park and an alcohol licence.

Petros is open seven days a week and benefits from 'excellent passing trade' being near the Derwent Walk path, the agents said.

Estate agents note new lease terms are available.

Customer reviews on TripAdvisor rate the restaurant at 3.9 out of 5.

One contributor to the online review site said: "The food was amazing and the staff were lovely.

"Also price was very good."

Another said: "Absolutely tasty lunch! My son invited me for lunch and I had the tastiest Moussaka and my son Schnitzel Greco. We also had traditional desserts and coffee and tea.

"Living in the Mill, I was pleasantly surprised how tasty the food and friendly the staff were close to home."
