A Darlington cocktail bar has hit the market for £75,000 after seven years in town.
Dr.inks, which has been based on Coniscliffe Road since 2018, is now up for sale as a “key opportunity” with “massive scope to increase sales”.
The bar, known for its “mouth-watering” cocktails and “funky” decor, boasts three storeys and has just added a new outdoor space on its doorstep, opposite Hash.
It is situated in a “beautifully restored” townhouse which dates back to the 1830s, where it opened at the location formerly known as No 1 Paradise Terrace.
Parker Barras director John Taylor said the firm "constantly reviews" its estates.
He told The Northern Echo: "The ones for disposal are for ‘smaller and older’ venues, or where the company has a second pub reasonably nearby."
Dr.inks benefits from its own enclosed back garden as well as a ground floor snug with open fire, a function space, and a floor housing a commercial kitchen, offices and stores.
As well as serving up cocktails and drinks, Dr.inks is also known for its event lineup including afternoon teas, grazing tables, makeup masterclasses and comedy nights.
With a turnover of £340,000 for the end of 2024, the bar currently runs on very limited opening hours; Thursday between 4pm and 10pm, Friday between 2pm and 12pm, Saturday between 12pm and 12pm, and Sunday between 12pm and 8pm.
The developer said the bar remains in good decoration and could increase sales by adding a food offering.

The listing states: “The property is a three story town house, thoughtfully decorated, complete with external seating to the front and rear enclosed garden.
“This is the perfect site for anyone wanting to open their own bar or add to an existing portfolio.”
The building is a leasehold and is held on a 25 year lease with 17 years remaining at a rental of £14,000 per annum. The property is also exempt from business rates.
