Search for missing Alex Weatherley enters four day

Alex Weatherley, 35, from Norton, was last seen at York train station on Thursday, August 7, when he boarded an LNER train at 2.13pm.

The train was bound for Inverness in Scotland, but passed through Darlington, Newcastle, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling and a number of other towns.

Missing Alex Weatherley (Image: North Yorkshire Police) He is described as white, of slim build, 6ft 3ins tall, with brown hair and facial hair.

When Alex was last seen he was wearing a dark-coloured padded jacket, a black hooded top underneath, and dark-coloured trousers.

Police are continuing efforts to establish where he got off the train. Pictures show him at York Railway Station prior to boarding the train.
