A boy has suffered multiple fractures to his leg after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a crash with two other vehicles.
The collision, which happened on Oxford Road in Middlesbrough on Wednesday (August 6), at about 5.15pm, involved a Honda CBF 500 motorbike, a Volvo V40 and a Volkswagen Touran.
The 16-year-old driving the motorbike suffered multiple fractures to his leg and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
He was later arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving without a licence and no insurance.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "A 16-year-old boy suffered multiple fractures to his leg in a collision involving three vehicles in Middlesbrough.

The collision involved a Honda CBF 500 motorbike, a Volvo V40 and a Volkswagen Touran.
The 16-year-old driving the motorbike suffered multiple fractures to his leg in the incident, around 5.15pm on Wednesday, August 6, on Oxford Road and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
"Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 147904."
