A man has been injured in a “targeted” slash attack - as police hunt for a dirt biker suspect.
Police were called to Grangetown on Thursday (July 24) after a man was attacked by unknown suspects just before 1am.
The 20-year-old had received slashes to his face and leg and is receiving hospital treatment for what are not currently believed to be life-threatening injuries.
Officers erected two cordons in Grangetown following the ordeal, cordoning off a home on Birchington Avenue and a section of Tennyson Avenue.
Several police cars remain stationed at the two scenes, one of which has a bike lying in the centre of the road within the cordon.

Cleveland Police has confirmed that this is currently being treated as a targeted incident, and officers will remain in the area carrying out further enquiries.
The force believes the suspect or suspects were on a quadbike or dirt bike and is appealing for anyone with doorbell, dash cam or CCTV footage.
