Teesside comedy legend Bob Mortimer is set to return to the second series of Amazon Prime smash hit Last One Laughing.
The Middlesbrough-born comic and reigning champion will be back in the Amazon Prime Video show to defend his crown.
His return comes after news that series two of the breakout hit show has already finished filming, reported by Broadcast.
Half of legendary TV comic duo Reeves and Mortimer, the Athletico Mince podcast host, saw clips from his first series go viral online, with his hilarious song about 'slender people' being viewed millions of times across social media sites like TikTok and X.
Mortimer won his series in a showdown with Richard Ayoade, having seen off fellow competitors Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, and Harriet Kemsley.
The show brings together well-known comedians who compete to avoid laughing, all while attempting to make their competitors laugh.
Any contestant who laughs or smirks is given a warning, followed by a 'red card' for a second offence, meaning they are eliminated from the show.

Jimmy Carr will be returning to host the show, which attracted up to 6.1 million viewers an episode in the first series, making it the second most streamed Prime Video show after Clarkson's Farm.
Last week, Amy Gledhill was rumoured to be one of the new batch of comedians taking part in the show, where comedians try to make each other laugh without cracking up.
The UK show was just one of many national adaptations of the original Japanese series Documental, created by Hitoshi Matsumoto, with local versions worldwide, including an Irish version hosted by Graham Norton and an Australian version hosted by Rebel Wilson.
