Pictures of Truck fest family friendly weekend in Wolsingham

Truck fest North East returned to the Wolsingham Showground, bringing with it a showcase of heavy metal and horsepower.

Dubbed the "Glastonbury for trucks," the two-day event, held on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, featured a wide variety of attractions catering to truck enthusiasts and families alike.

Rows of vintage lorries, American super trucks, and custom cabs lined the showground, giving visitors the chance to get up close to some of the most impressive vehicles on the road.

The main arena saw action throughout both days, headlined by the Swamp Thing monster truck, which delivered high-octane stunt performances.

Crowds also gathered to watch Broke FMX, the freestyle motocross team known for their daring airborne tricks.

Strength and endurance were put to the test in the Truck Pull Challenge, while attendees also had the chance to meet popular TV personalities and Gladiators, who made appearances on both days for photo opportunities.

Entertainment for all ages was spread across the showground, including live music and interactive family attractions.

Those in the haulage industry explored cutting-edge trucking innovations at the Electric Zone, with leading manufacturers and distributors on hand to display the latest in technology and equipment.
