Jeremy Clarkson is set to step away from Clarkson's Farm for a break, casting doubt on the show's long-term future.
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host worked alongside co-stars James May and Richard Hammond on the motoring shows for over two decades.
In recent years, Mr Clarkson has found even more popularity with a switch from cars to farming.
After purchasing Oxfordshire-based Diddly Squat Farm in 2008, the star went on to make Clarkson's Farm.
The Prime Video documentary was initially released in 2021 and showed the celebrity getting to grips with farming.
With two further seasons and a fourth being released this week, the programme is a smash hit with audiences across the world.
Despite this and a fifth season confirmed with filming already started, Mr Clarkson has now cast doubt on the future of the show past that point.
Speaking to The Times, he revealed that the team would be taking a break and said: “I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a bloody good story.
"Whatever happens, we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years.
"Everybody could do with a rest.”

The fourth season of Clarkson's Farm will focus on the 65-year-old's new Oxfordshire pub, The Farmer's Dog, alongside the usual agricultural antics.
Starting with four episodes being released on Prime Video on Friday, May 23, two further episodes will then be released on the following Friday (May 30) .
A final pair of episodes will then come out on the Friday after that (June 6).
