A person has been taken to hospital after a crash in Darlington.
Emergency services were called to Coleridge Gardens, near Skerne Park Academy, on Thursday (May 15) following a crash.
An air ambulance was called to the scene just after noon, with an ambulance crew and doctor from the North East Ambulance Service also attending.
One person was taken to the James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough for further treatment. Their condition remains unknown.
A Great North Air Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 12.53pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Darlington near Skerne Park Academy.
"We had two doctors and a paramedic on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 1.01pm.
"Our team worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient.
"The patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.10pm on Thursday 15 May to reports of a road traffic incident on Coleridge Gardens in Darlington.
"We dispatched an ambulance crew and a specialist paramedic to the scene, and requested support from our colleagues at the GNAAS who attended by air.
"One patient was taken by road to James Cook University Hospital for further treatment.”
