A popular model railway show is set to return in May, accompanied by heritage diesel trains on a real-life track.
Wensleydale Railway will host the event on May 10 and 11 at Leeming Bar Station.
The show will feature various model railway layouts, from N to O gauges, as well as trade stands and model-making demonstrations.
Visitors can also enjoy hot and cold drinks and snacks, with draft and bottled beer on sale on the platform.
Alongside the model railway exhibits, the railway's heritage diesel locomotives will be running passenger services over the weekend.
These include the class 37 (37250), class 14 (D9513), class 14 (D9523), and class 03 (03144) diesel locomotives, which will operate between Scruton and Leyburn.
Railway enthusiasts will also be treated to the first public unveiling of the new livery for the class 47 locomotive, which was purchased in November 2024.
The locomotive is currently undergoing bodywork repairs and a repaint.
It will be on display inside the Leeming Bar shed.
Visitors can speak to a volunteer member of the diesel team who worked on the locomotive’s repair and repaint, gaining insights into the project.
Nick Keegan, marketing and fundraising manager at Wensleydale Railway, said: "This is the fourth year that we have hosted our model railway show at Leeming Bar.
"We will have 10 layouts on display and a selection of trade stands and model-making demonstrations in attendance.
"Railway enthusiasts can also enjoy travelling behind some of our heritage diesel fleet over the weekend.
"Entrance to the model railway show is free for children aged three to 15, and they can travel on our trains for only £1 with our ‘kids-for-a-quid’ travel promotion.
"Bring the family for a day of big and small train fun at our volunteer-led heritage railway."

The event will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Tickets for entry to the model railway show cost £6 for adults and are free for children aged three to 15.
Tickets can be bought online or on the day at the show.
