Police have confirmed that no one was injured during a crash on the A688 near Bishop Auckland this morning (April 7).
Emergency services were called to the A-road between Spennymoor and Bishop Auckland, following reports of a 'multi-vehicle' incident.
Officers from Durham Constabulary blocked the road for around an hour and a half to allow emergency services to work at the scene, which blocked traffic travelling towards Binchester Moor and Middlestone Moor.
Following the incident, the police force has confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash, but no one was injured.

The road reopened at around 12.30pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called shortly before 11am this morning (April 7) to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A688 near Bishop Auckland.
"Nobody was injured in the incident.
"The road is now clear."
