A 12-year-old boy was knocked to the ground by a car while he was riding his bike in Middlesbrough on Monday (March 31), police have confirmed.
The incident happened around 8am on Normanby Road, involving a black car, possibly a taxi, and the boy who was on a pedal cycle.
The crash caused the boy to fall into the road.
Police say the vehicle did not stop at the scene, and the boy was taken to hospital to be checked over.
He suffered minor injuries during the incident.
