Plans for roadworks lasting three weeks in the marketplace of a town in North Yorkshire have been set out by the council.
Residents and businesses in Richmond have been told that they should prepare for upcoming roadworks in the Market Place, set to commence on Monday, March 10.
The essential maintenance is expected to last for three weeks, with work being carried out in small sections to minimise disruption.
Contractors will be on-site from 7.30am until 5pm each day, except for a one-night operation on March 21, when work will take place between 7pm and midnight.
North Yorkshire County Council has advised residents and visitors to plan their journeys accordingly, as some access routes may be affected during the works.
A spokesperson for the council said: "While every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum, drivers and pedestrians are urged to follow signage and diversion routes for their safety.

The roadworks form part of an ongoing programme of improvements aimed at maintaining the condition and safety of Richmond’s town centre roads.
Businesses in the Market Place will remain open, with access arrangements in place to ensure minimal impact on trade.
