Barnard Castle is set for a comedy double delight as two top stand-up acts bring their latest shows to The Witham.
Critically acclaimed comedian Chris Cantrill and TV favourite Geoff Norcott will each perform in the historic market town, offering audiences a mix of high-energy storytelling and razor-sharp satire.
Chris Cantrill, nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe three times, is bringing his hit show Easily Swayed to Barnard Castle as part of a nationwide tour.

Following a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Easily Swayed tells the hilarious and chaotic tale of an overdue reunion gone wrong.
Best known as half of the beloved comedy duo The Delightful Sausage, Chris has also appeared in Alma’s Not Normal (BBC Two), Avoidance (BBC One), and Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (Channel 4), as well as co-creating the hit BBC Radio 4 series Icklewick FM.
His Barnard Castle performance, on March 22, marks the final date of the tour, making it a must-see event.

Known for his right-leaning comedic voice and sharp political satire, Geoff will tackle the shifting political landscape and the contradictions of modern culture with his signature wit.
With a string of TV appearances, including Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, Have I Got News for You, and The Last Leg, Geoff has solidified himself as one of the most insightful and uncompromising voices in comedy.
He has also penned pieces for The Times, The Independent, and The New Statesman, and created hit BBC documentaries such as How The Middle Classes Ruined Britain.
