A huge disco party is set to take over a North East venue this summer.
Brutus Gold's Love Train will be coming to The Fire Station in Sunderland on Saturday, July 12.
The event, which is described as the 'UK's greatest disco party', will see the venue transformed into a 'real-life disco inferno'.
The night will be led by Puerto Rican love god DJ Brutus Gold and his cohort of 70s superstars, who will take party-goers on a journey back to the days of platform shoes and polyester.
The Fire Station will be brought to life with 'astounding production and glamorous scenery', with a soundtrack of A-Z disco classics.
There will also be a chance to do 'The Hustle' and take part in the legendary 'Disco-Dance-Off,' where contenders battle it out on stage to win "the world’s most coveted prizes" and the crown of 'The Greatest Dancer.'
The Love Train has been running for more than 30 years and has received international recognition as the number one disco show, with accolades from MTV, Owen Wilson, and Tina Turner, who revealed she 'danced all night' at her private party.
Brutus Gold said: "Party-goers can expect the ultimate escape.
"The fun starts from the moment you enter and dressing up is highly encouraged."
People are encouraged to get dressed up and come along as their favourite 70s pop star, or favourite movie or TV icon.
The event will run from 7.30pm until 11pm and tickets are priced from £26 to £39.
They are available from thefirestation.org.uk.
